My passion project is a fair trade specialty coffee subscription business called Casita Coffee Roasters. This website was a solo project, heavily adapted from a Shopify template. I integrated a subscription platform called Chargebee into the the checkout system using Javascript because the majority of subscription plugins for Shopify cost an additional $30 - $50 per month, while Chargebee is free for the first $50,000 in sales. The branding for this site is premium while still remaining approachable, inviting and trustworthy.

Comets & Rockets // Cargofold

Comets & Rockets was a start-up that created an application called Cargofold. Cargofold features collection folders where a user collects items he/she is thinking about purchasing in folders (similar to Pinterest) except the user purchases the item directly in-application. (This was implemented before in-app purchases existed on Facebook & Pinterest. When uploading a new item to a collection, simply copy/pasting the item's URL auto-populates the name, description, price, and image from the original URL. These designs are initial ideas for branding, layout and landing pages for Cargofold and Comets & Rockets - used for pitches to investors.

Gold Peak underwent a website change when they acquired a coffee company to partner with their tea brand. I worked on a team with 2 other designers to create high fidelity mockups based on client directed, pre-approved wireframes for their new website. The brand's aesthetic is fresh, welcoming and nostalgic.

These are high fidelity mockups for Because of Hope's website. Because of Hope is a non-profit that sells recycled paper bead jewelry made by women in Uganda. After maintaining their own site for about seven years, the organization wanted something with more features to fit their growing needs & have recently migrated to the Shopify platform. Their original online store only had 3 products, which are featured in this mockup.
